One of my passions is the learning process. Learning as the student and teaching as the sensei are both arts in themselves.
I am a founder of the Marblehead School of Music. Studying music is an incredible way to explore the learning process itself, life, being in the moment, style, creativity, and collaboration. My wife and I started the school based on experiences from my music career, my college education at Berklee College of Music, and Jennifer’s insight from teaching in the Boston public school system.
One of our philosophies at the school is to allow teachers to teach in their natural style, and allow students to learn the style of music that inspires them in the way they like to learn. Our goal is to find a good match and offer direction for each student/teacher combination.
Our little store is now going on almost 20 years. The number of students who have gained insight is remarkable.
