Technology

Since I was a young lad, I have always enjoyed learning and experimenting with computer hardware and software. I started back in the day with a Radio Shack TRS-80, paired with a tape recorder for storage and a foam cradle for a telephone modem.

I have a passion for any technology that helps people create, manage, and collaborate. I have formally studied CPU and microprocessor design, operating system architectures, and large-scale software development strategies.

I am a huge proponent of open-source software. The Linux operating system and GIT source control projects are two of the most significant developments in technology that have shaped our world for the better. Thanks, Linus!

Patents

I believe that the modern folder/file/application/document model that has been used for decades is inadequate. Over the past several years, I have applied for and been granted several patents related to solving issues in modern operating systems.
